Evox With Xtender 1.1

Ok I just ordered an Xtender 1.1 chip with a new XBOX.  I'm just wondering if the EvoX will work with my BIOS.  I just want to be able to make backups from my XBOX game to my PC so I can burn them on DVD-RW and play them, since I hear there is no other way to make backups?!  If anyone could give me some tips I'd appreciate it.  Thanks!
