Oddworld Backup?
« on: July 11, 2002, 05:56:00 AM »

i tried this morning just to see if i see anything and i did.. there were about 3 or 4 folders, one was called oddio, the default.xbe and like two other files.  i only took a quick glance cuz i didnt wanna miss my daily dose of saved by the bell.  so to answer your question, you should see something.  the only advice i could give is, dont connect via ftp until the disk is done loading, after it is done, go to network and boot up.  should work

I had no problem seeing the files and copying them to my drive, both via ftp and by mapping the xbox to a network drive.

Nope... haven't had any free time between work and hockey.  Will try again this weekend.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, alright... I got it to work.  It takes a loooong time to go from the "Xbox" screen to the intro screen.  I thought I'd burned another bad copy, but it's good... just slow to start up.

I didn't do anything special - just copied the files over to my PC, then burned at 1X using Primo.  I didn't use xIso.
