NO he's right that does work and is documented on this site.

However Option 2 ) I dont recall having to use xiso to get the file..You could just FTP off the drive because you booted from EVolX

Duece, you are correct. Just rename the orriginal xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe, then copy the default.xbe from the EvoX disk to the /C/ drive, and rename it to xboxdash.xbe

This will allow you to boot the xbox (with no disc in it) to the EvoX dashboard and allow you to use the ftp to copy games, plus you can still get to the orriginal MS dashboard using the provided selection in the EvoX dashboard. No menu.ini needed.

I thought I read somewhere that it creates it if it didn't exist, and EvoX guys set it up that if you renamed the orriginal dashboard to msxboxdash.xbe, their program will find it without the need to add a menu.ini file to the /C/ drive.
