Cant Put On Ms Dashboard

I cant play xbox withoutmy mod chip turned on when its not turned on it doesnt go to the ms dashboard it goes to the problem window it says take your xbox to repair or watever does anyone know how i can get the MS dashboard to come on without the mod chip going on becuase i want to play xbox live

You need to lock your HDD. I suggest using ConfigMagic.

P.S. It's always a good thing to keep a copy somewhere (on your PC) of the key that configmagic locks your HDD with.
