-- You need to burn the iso to start with , worry about the Menu file later .
-- You do have a Modded Xbox - right ?

First you should burn the ISO to a DVD because for some reason Evolution-X is not working on CD-RW'S, at least mine, and many other peoples. The MAC DVD-R would be a good start. Worked for me. I would use Primo DVD to burn or Nero. Set to Mode 1 / 2048. Then pop in the CD and it will load. Use FlashFXP to connect once you see the Evolution-X dashboard. There's a start. Hope this info helps. If not try Evolution-X website.

james300zx:

The reason you dont see the system utilities is because you have not installed the "menu.ini".
Check through the tutorials and it'll show you how. Just be careful cause if you dont know what you are doing you can screw things up!!!

Look through the tutorials also. All your answers are there too.

I read through the tutorials and can't find help on setting up a menu.ini file.
Where do I find help on this?

for those of you that cant get cdrw's to work.. or even if you only have cdr's.  this method worked for me to get evo x workin on a cdr.  i guessed that the xbox likes bigger isos because i could get some big games to boot using cdrs but evox would not boot, being how small it is.  so i just added a bunch of junk files into the evox iso until it was 600+ megs and it booted fine!  weird, but it worked.
