Everything out there (including the people that rip the games PX) suggest that you use PRASSI...

So what do you do, you go get stomp, trial at that, and then wonder why you're having problems.

Use Prassi Primo DVD and choose this option

under RECORDING OPTIONS--->File System Type:

UDF - Up to 128 in file name length, any char, plus 8+3 (bridge)

Also make sure you choose disc-at-once (DAO) not track-at-once (TAO).

Burnt halo today after ripping it, works grrrrrrreat!

So you don't creat ISO right? You just burn files ripped from DVD that are all in the same directory???? Please clarify this aspect. Thanks!

Drag all the files and dir's from the game into Prassi, then set the RECORDING OPTIONS the way Tripmode said and burn.
At no time do you need to create an ISO.

Hi, I used a program by Stomp inc. called record now max. I took Outlaw golf which I couldn't get to burn right and have it actually load the levels.  I Extracted the files , then burned in the program as a data cd. In the options I switched it to UDF somethingf, under cd and dvd. Not the Joliet one! Then I burned it and it works . However it does load the levels a little slow. I'm not sure if there is a way to preserve the layout of the original files.
