I know this may be a noob question my xbox is hard modded and im thinking of getting xbox live can i get it or will my mod chip stop me from having it or will xbox live detect the hard mod please reply

So..you DO have a modchip???...not a tsop (your saying hardmodded)...either way...your BEST BET is to have another xbox to play online games with or at least disconnect the modchip from the mobo when you want to play live....noone is POSITIVE on the way m$ is detecting mods,etc..but they are hard at work trying to detect modders...What modchip do you have,Bios,dash,stock or origonal hdd do you have and xbox version do you have ...and for future refrence this kind of topic should be posted in the online gaming forums ...click herehttp://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=102357
