I'm contemplating doin this & wonder ifanyone already has & with any success. Some helpful info/tips would be GREATLY appreciated!
My system: Xbox w/ the ST Bios chip, Enigmah Final mod.
Wanna flash the evo x bios to my main MB bios.
Currently i boot games from the evo x CD & NOT from the C:\ dashboard, my C:\ is still intact w/o any altering. My goal is to later upgrade the HD but 1st things 1st. Was wonderin if i boot up from the CD, then snip the 2 wires on my mod chip, then go into the system via the FTP & flash the bios that way. Then i can completely remove the mod chip & have evo x's bio onboard with still the dashboard unaltered.
like i said, current i boot from cd & play the 5 games on my HD from it, goal is to up the HD to 40 to play around 20-25 games by still only using the boot disc evo x (sure its a lil pain to always alter the .ini & reburn the cd everytime i add stuff on my HD but that way i leave my C:\ unaltered.
Has anyone successfully flashed the bios from the CD/FTP?
