Revolver: I thought the ones with e were the english versions?? I ripped out two of the japanese videos, like you said, using Rad Video Tools.

I've gotten every game (except a severely scratched Hunter the Reckoning) to work perfect, doing the line 214 patch to FFFF FF00. I then burn to a nice Sony DVD-RW, and test. It works, so I then blank out the DVD-RW, and store on the HD or dvd-r. If it's a good game, I print out the full dvd cover and stick it in these dvd cases from ebay ($20 for 100).

pmow the only reason patching is helping you is because you have a beta mod. Has nothing to do with it working on the hdd or not.

I prefer not to PM people with info that's helpful for all...

I burned a CD-RW with CT3 just fine (ProjectX). Just finished testing a 5-way "ComplexMenu" DVD-RW (my first compo), UDF:

Obi Wan
Crazy Taxi 3
Simpson's Road Rage
Burnout
Tetris Worlds

Worked GREAT!

sounds like you used UDF 106 Joliet 8+3 Bridge. Happened to me.

Anyone managed Red Card? i have tried, but it doesn't work.

My DVD drive of my xbox doesnt read that much stuff the only thing it reads well is Verbatim DVDr.
And yesterday i got an idea , i just put a cdr that is not supported by my drive inside.

Open up my Xbox and i got the Evox screen.
Use my *** to go inside and look into the D: Drive
and to my surprise i could see everything on the cd.

So i restarted my xbox to boot the game that is on the but still nothing.

Now i got another idea.
you can put games on your HD with evox and start them from hd with a simple addline to put in your MENU.ini

so i thought why not put an extra item to start a game from D: my dvd rom drive .
I added to my menu.ini a little line like this
"Additem "Startup DVD","d:\default.xbe" .....

I restart my xbox open up the Tray put CDr inside , leave tray open , and push REBOOT in menu EVOx.
then when Evox started up again , i go to LAUNCH MENU and pushed STARTUP DVD
And it worked , my game started on a normal not supported cdr.
i also tried this on DVDr that didn't work in my BOX
and they all work fine now.

Maybe i am wrong but i like to have some feedback coz if i am right then you don't need to buy specific CD - DVD media that works

I have the Complex Bios v1.0 and was wondering if I needed to patch the xbe after ripping, or is that just for beta chips?

Hi i'm new...
i have tried to makes backups of:
ISS2... 100% ok
Amped 100% ok

BUT
DOA3, MOTO GP and Project Gotham after the introduction stop playing...

Now i tried only with the flashfxp and xiso...
I have a pal x-box with the executor with evolution dashboard

So far I have ripped these Games from Originals

Mat Hoffman 2
Dave Mirra 2
NFL Blitz 2003
NCAA 2003
Fuzion Frenzy
Azurik
Bloodwake
Blood Omen 2
Genma Onimusha
Nightcaster

I have not had a single problem with any of these and I have done it successfully with two seperate methods.

1. Load EvoX, Pop in the Disc, Log in ftp from PC on network, Copy all contents from D (Xbox DVD Drive) to a folder on the PC Hard Drive. Once all files transfer completely (using Flashfxp it will say which files fail) I load xIso and create a Xbox ISO Image (it will ask where the folder is containing the Xbox Content and where to save the image). I then burn that image using DiscJuggler Mode 1/2048 with TOC set on CDROM/DVD. Works every time (xbox drive is picky on media, this works well with a PC DVD)

2. Load boXplorer (latest version, not sure on the build number) and copy all contents from D (Xbox DVD Drive) to a folder I created on the Xbox E partition (E:\games\[Game Title]) once finished the evoX picks up the new game using menu.ini and it is available under launch games from hard disk. Loads perfect and plays great everytime.

The one time I did have a bit of trouble was with nightcaster, Had a dirty disk and one file paused during the transfer, I canceled the transfer and then resumed the transfer, it completed and I made the ISO and burned. It must have been an important file because the game hung at the loading screen. I cleaned the disk, re-ripped the entire game and it loaded perfect.
