no its not a modchip.... its a piece of software that works alongside a modchip to allow you to access the xbox hard drive and dvd rom for backup and expansion purposes.. also allows programs made for the xbox to be uploaded to its hard drive and boot it without need of burning to a dvd or cd.....
they also included a image file that you can flash as a home made mod chip(if u have a chip programmer), its specially designed for there software, it allows expansion of devices not originally designed for use with the xbox(80+gig hard drives and so on)... a normal mod chip will boot the code but will not allow certain functions to be used(the hard disc expansion is one)..
