for future reference, if you are using windows 7, you DO need to install the drivers manually.  but it worked beautifully.......thanks for the great deal!

Here is the process that I just used to installed the driver in Windows 7:

CODE

Plug the probe in.  I had to use a rear USB port connected directly to the motherboard.
Wait for the failed to install message to appear
Open device manager and find the USB device
click on it and update USB driver
direct it to look at the CD USB Driver directory including sub folders
click through menu's until installed
I tested by openning JF and seeing that it appeared there.

Hope this helps

Stupid question:
Do I need to solder anything to the DVD drive to use this tool, or do I just put the probe on the right point of the drive PCB and read the key on the computer?

I've flashed non-Lite-on 360's before, but this will be my first go-round with the Lite-on drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The probe makes it a solderless process.  Just touch it to the proper spot and get the keys.  As I said before there is a pretty good user manual in jungleflasher that has good pictures showing the process.  It is pretty simple after you do the first one.

Sorry at the moment I am only looking for cash.  Yes using the 360 as a power source the probe will grab the keys for you. It really isn't that bad after you do the first one and have an idea of how it all works.
