Ordered mine on Friday got it today. Nicely packaged and shipped quickly. Flashed my first lite on with it using jungleflasher and the whole process only took 15-20 minutes...

I ordered mine and it came very promptly. I think in 2 or 3 days from west coast to east. Finally got my friend's 360 with Liteon and modded it. The Executer worked great!!! This is a great deal and the spear is the best! I love how it lights up green to show you it's connected properly and it turns blue when you have it on the right hole on the drive!

I highly recommend this product and seller!

I do have a suggestion though. I didn't get any documentation whatsoever with mine. I would suggest you at least include a note with the package that says go to your website or Maximus or whatever for the documentation. I had to dig to find out which way the plug went for the spear as you can put it on either way. The green light tells you it's hooked up right but not sure what would happen if it wasn't. At the very minimum you need a sheet that shows how to hook the wires up.

People also need to know that they will need a USB cable that has the small connector on it like you use to hook a digital camera to your computer. It doesn't come with this. Luckily I already had one.

The other thing which is not the seller's fault. The Maximus tutorial on the Maximus reader is good but they don't tell you that you need the drive tray to be halfway in. Basically you have to turn on the drive, eject it. Turn it off and push it halfway in. Then turn the drive/executer back on. Otherwise it will NOT read the key. They don't tell you this anywhere in the video nor do they show it. I couldn't get Maximus Reader to work so I tried Jungleflasher. I found out about it reading the Jungleflasher tutorial I think.

Anyway good price, great product and prompt delivery! Fix the few things I mentioned and you'll have a perect 10!

Yeah you are correct abou t that. The drive should be in half open o r half closed status. You can do it as you have proposed. But, I think the tutorial s that exist out there sya to do it with the power of the drive on, then while closing the tray that you should cut power when it is 50% of the way closed. In my experience it is usually 60-65% closed. Or you can do it another way which is to slide the tray open to 35-40% open from a completely closed state while the power is off, then power it on. Either way works...even your way obviously. I guess there are 3 ways to do it.
