Infra-red Reflow Of Gpu
« on: November 14, 2008, 01:07:00 PM »

i know a lot of you guys here are DIYers and what not, but sometimes the x clamp and other overheating methods are only temporary and might not work at all. I have an expensive peice of equipment (BGA Reflow Machine) at my work, which uses infra-red technology to reflow the chip. If anyone is interested you can email me at [email protected]. I have attached some images for you all to check out. The picture you see isnt the actual reflow, which i did a few minutes later, i was just doing a 5 minute bake, heating up the board/ component and fluxing the solder joints, aka experimenting if you will.
