hey there and greetz bourke (thanks for the chat the other day ;))

i picked up one of the green halo xboxs (australian).. has the 5713.01 bios (has the dashboard version check, lucky i backed that up hehe).. oh and a focus video encoder..

its a 1.4 as far as modding is concerned.. 3.3v and ground were connected on lpc.. had an xbox infront of me at the same time which was a 1.5 and made about 5 months earlier which of course needed those connected..weird.

the green halo box had these details:

mfg date is 2004-01-29
serial .....40505
dvd: philips (dec 2003) - read ridata/tdk cdrs fine, couldnt read gat cds (like who cares hehe)
hdd: seagate (thin white top model)

was surprised that some of the lpc stuff was connected again.. not complaining tho.. its running fine with the m7 bios (as expected) from the lpc using the bottom d0 point..

 Hey, could you please post the first number of the serial number too. (the 4 th number on product number) so we would know on which factory line it was made.

That 40505 simply means that it's made in year (200)4 on week 05 in China (05), so that's no additional information after the manufacturing date.

Well, here is one shop that is currently selling them. http://www.netanttil...rrfnbr=14170726. That's page for Xbox crystal edition, but you'll have to go to that page twice, since first time without cookie you'll just get to main site.

I guess they only ship to Finland, but that shouldn't be a problem if you can travel wink.gif

 My mobo is plain ordinary 1.4 motherboard, but I guess I'll post pictures of that too along with other requests.

strange that m$ picked a v1.4 motherbord (for the xbox in case) and not a v1.5 if it had to be a motherboard that was released already...

Well, it's an ordinary 1.4 board, so naturally everything is in the same place as with other 1.4 boards.. Otherwise it wouldn't be an 1.4 board, right?

crazymaniac asked for a motherboard photo. It's completely ordinary 1.4 motherboard, so I hope that not everybody loads it. If you don't believe me then go ahead and have a look. I assure you however, that I know what I am talking about and there are no differences to other 1.4 boards!

Those green power LEDs will have to go when I get mine. Blue ones would look alot better in there. Or even white ones.
