I have not personally tested this but I would assume yes.  When the chip is disable, it boots your original bios, which does not use all 128mb ram, actually, it only detects 64mb of it.  So I would say that it would make no difference as far as xbox live.

If your Xbox boots, that's a good indicator the install was successful.  I load up Xbox Media Player, then System Settings, which shows total ram used and installed.

Need another server.  Right now, the files are being posted no where.  If someone could provide a more permantent server, it would be appreciated.

torch.gif RAM Install Video
torch.gif RAM Removal Video

Download them, do NOT stream.  If I see crazy bandwidth being used b/c of streamers, I will remove.

Little tip for those watching though:  out of personal experience, don't cake the flux on.  A very think layer is all you need.  To much flux can cause corrosion and a huge mess.

Archived the videos so no one can stream.

I got about 2.5 more year free on this host with 5GB of traffic.  Like I said, as long as I don't see a huge spike from people that don't download them, I wont take it off.

Actually, I will just archive them...   wink.gif
