hey, i obvoiously screwed something up real bad because my xbox will not boot to any dash, only leaving me in an error messege. when i did the dash i obviously cleared my hdd and screwed something up. i have no access to a modded xbox.

i can, however, use xbox hdm, i have used it before

i simply want my dash back on the xbox, then i can get the gamesave back on the hdd and load it from there!

i have tried the trick where you put a live comp. game but i had NO sucess, halo 2 just hung, and rebooted the game

PLEASE could someone just point me how to get the dash, put it back on the xbox and where. thank you so much

You can acquire the dash from slayers 2.5/2.6, and from the usual places....a usual place >> http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php
 The only way I can see you getting past the error however, is by installing a chip, ftp'ing in from a boot disc, and sending over your dash. There may be other ways around it, but not that I know of, if someone knows of a way, I'm sure they will add to this.

a few people have told me that i can use xbox hdm and hotswap. but i dont know where to put the dash?

also, do you know where on the hdd i need to put it?

my xbox is the halo clear green edition, i belive its 1.4, how would i figure out which dash i need? i will set up an aol account and post it. give me a time(and time zone so i can figure it out lol im in central time)
