How Do I Fic Error 16?

I don't know if this is the right forum for this (it is the general dash forum, I guess...), but here goes:

I'm trying to mod a friend's 1.6 Xbox. After fiddling with it for four days, I have finally found a BIOS that loads correctly (Yoshi's). However, none of the dashes I have tried will boot (I've tried Evox, Avalaunch, UIX, and NeXgen). It is always an error 16.

My question is not exactly what an error 16 is (I know it is a failure in the dash), but how to fix it...

So, how do I fix it? <
