Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with this pb I have

First of all, I have a modded Xbox with Unleash-x, while trying to install new game saves for DOA Ultimate, I changed the "default.xbe" file in the e: root folder and now every time I turn the console On it will show me an error display in various languages telling me to call technical support. I need your help to find out what to do please I know you guys are experts on these things. I tried with the Slayers 2.6 version in a CD-RW but I get the same thing...hope u can help...thx

EDIT: btw, I have the Xbox networked to my pc via router but the ftp doesn't works anymore....maybe there's a way to make it work again..

OK, reading other posts I found out that I may do the following:

"all you have to do is download a hd loadder and dummy file, burn it and ftp and sit back ", unfortunately, I need more details on how to do this...if someone could provide me with more information for doing it it would be greatly appreciated!! <

If you did a softmod you can't use a cd to boot.  You have to use a game exploit.  If you used a softmodding package (ltools or something else), try booting your box with the tray open.  

My dumbass replaced the default.xbe in my E:\dashboard dir with the .xbe for nkpatcher supposed to go in the E:\BiosLD dir and this is how I got around having to pull the drive.  Just booted with with the tray open and it booted up ltools, then reinstalled the exploit along with Evox. <

OK?  I'll try putting it simpler.  Try hitting the eject button on your XBOX instead of the power button and see what happens.  If it brings up a menu for something, choose to install UDE/UDE2/UXE. <

Ok here is the deal you need to be more specific as far as your box setup . If you changed somehting in the e drive it should have absolutly no bearing on your dash settings as those are on the c drive . That is unless your box is softmodded . SO from what you have told me you have an error message so I am assuming you have a soft mod ( maybe ) if this is true you probally have somekind of save that works with either mechassualt spinter cell or 007 . If none of those games have a saved profile called run linux ( most softmodders are to lazy to delete them ) . Then you have a real problem . Your xbox hard drive is locked and the key to it is a file called eeprom.bin which can be created with evox or other programs . Without that file and with no way to access that file via ftp( as most soft autoinstallers back it up in E:\backup\eeprom.bin ) your xbox becomes completely useless and is in need of an X3 modchip and unlock your drive in evox  .


If you have a modchip IM me at TheLamer123 and I will let you know how and where to get either a slayers disk or any dash and how to burn them . If you are not sure if you have a modchip then I am assuming that you don't have one and don't bother Iming me . Long story short you fucked yourself . <
