By that do you mean they have the same IP address?  I don't know if it does any good to change the IP of evox while on CD (write protected, unlike when on a HDD), so if they do infact use the same IP, change the PC's, and try and connect..  If still nothing, perhaps your cable?  My friend got a rj-45 cable and it didn't work for him, he had to get another one, before he could connect..
