I need a firmware modded dvd drive for my system. I used to have a hitachi 0046dh. I'll take anything that would work for my system at this point.

I will also consider a system swap (mine is a premium) you send me a firmware modded premium system and i'll send you mine and you part it out and sell it or try to fix it.

whats wrong with the current 360?

just the dvd drive, nothing else. Its been working great for me never had any problems with the system up until 3-4 weeks ago.  

Also i forgot to say, I'll add some money to make up the difference between the two systems.

eventhough you have never modded your drive or know how to do it, you need to know that nobody can sell you a drive that will work with your mobo unless he has the security key which needs to be extracted from the working drive (and yes it has to be extracted before it is no longer working).

in other words, if you cannot extract the key from your drive, your console is nothing more than a paperweoght with a few parts worth approx $65-80 max.

I have the original key, should've just asked instead of assuming  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
