bump....got the sammy sata drive w/kreon v0.80 for $47 shipped had to pay w/ google to avoid paying the charges for paypal but that was no biggie sent payment friday had drive in hand moday and it works flawless w/ XBC if u need it buy it from this dude....nuff said

wow this is great. I just found out that there is already a hack for the 360 to allow backup games... So Im getting interested in one.

But the new one is about $400. Does it make sense to save only $100 by getting a refurb?

Well, look at it this way. You're killing the warranty by modifying it to play copied games anyhow, and for a small fee you can avoid the hassle of flashing it yourself. Through a tragically bad flash I bricked the 360 I won in a raffle, so here I am.

Also would you be offering the new elite consoles when they come out. I might just wait to get my hands on the new ones. And $47 seems a bit pricey though. But what is the difference between the 2 kreon's?

And has anyone actually bought an xbox360 from this guy? Not drives but the actual console?

And lastly, do you do the BGA reflow thing along with the AS5 and washers on the refurbed unit for the price of $305? Or is that extra? Or again is it made only for people who get the 3RLOD? I'm sorry about the questions just want to make sure I have everything straight.

One kreon is sata the other is IDE.  The ide is cheaper.

The BGA reflow comes with washers and AS5 as well as the eraser mod.  All these add up to prevention of the 3red lights from happening again.
