I also have SH-D163A drive. This drive has the exact same function and can be flashed with the Kreon firmware as with the SH-D162C, however this drive use SATA instead of IDE (PATA) for anyone that like SATA instead.

I also have SATA SH-D163A BLACK color dvd-rom drives for $68 shipped. This one comes with software disc and user manual.
