In order to play a song as background music in UnleashX you need to convert it to .WMA format.

This isnt correct. Unleashx will allow playing of both wma and mp3s.

You need to be sure to go into the Audio Settings in your UnleashX and change the Play Music option to Custom (assuming you are adding the mp3, wma, whatever manually and not using the MS Dash).

That's the only way I've got it to work so far. But,  it does work, and mp3 is supported :)

How about "Both" to play the music you ripped via MS Dash (WMA) and the ones you manually copied somewhere (WMA and MP3)?
