I still cannot acces xboxdash with the chip off.  I can acces through evox though.  I have checked all file names, connections, everything.  When I start up with the mod off I get the familiar try to reboot and then red and green flashing...but nothing on the screen...not even an error message.  

Deleting "settings_adoc.xip" was the only thing that went wrong during install.  I was hoping that replacing the file would fix it, but it hasn't.  The xbox has live on it and he wants to be able to use it.  I did everything exactly like I did my xbox and mine is fully functional.   His just won't boot the orig dash.

Any ideas???   Thanks...
