yes, these are the small "limited edition" remotes. They are the exact same shape, only they have japanese writing instead of english, and they say they are prototypes on the back...

I updated the picture... let me know if it still doesnt work...

$15's a little high because thats what I can get them used at my local game shop for the US edition.. I personally want the full remote, but $30 is a little too high

I don't think it's too high...throw them on eBay and you'd probably get more. I just don't think anyone wants the words written in japanese...
