remove any dvds you might have in the dvd drive(s). power off your xbox. power on your xbox. let UX loadup. press the eject button. did it still launch the MS Dash? |
i suggested this because awhile back, i thought i had a problem too. sometimes when i pressed the eject button on the box, the ms dash would launch. it seemed rather random to me at first. i finally realized what was going on...
if you watch a dvd with the ms dash (and prolly any derivative like thc, etc.) and then do an IGR or some other 'soft-reset'...the next time you press the eject button, it will reset the box. however, this doesn't sound like what's happening to you. sorry i was no help.
maybe it's a quirk of that dvd-drive replacement...wouldn't hurt to try other bios...
...if you're competent at flashing...
