What's The Meaning Of The Version Number?
« on: December 07, 2004, 10:37:00 AM »

What do the various parts of the version string "v0.37.1207a Build 536" mean?
I understand the first 0, and I suppose the build number is incremented with each private build, but what are the other numbers?

I always wondered about the 4 digits and the "a" designation.  A method to the madness.
