Make sure you burn the cd using in xiso format. Use Craxtion or Quix to make the disc iso, then burn it using Nero or similar.

Hope this helps,
Stuart

If you're formatting a new drive 160gb and you wanted to go with UnleashX as a dash instead of EvoX can you still use Slayer to format or do you use something else?

i have a thomson drive, and just used an evox format disc (found in tutorials) containg like 5 MB of data, and formatted my 160GB, then used it (same disc) to ftp into my xbox and drag all the unleashX files, and system files back over...

pretty easy process.. unless you dont have a dvd burner.

500 megs in not needed as a dummy file at all.

Around 5 to 20 megs is fine.
You will find (usually at the "usual places") a file called dummy.zip
Inside it is actually nero.exe which then (a while ago) was around 10 megs.. now its around 13 megs.
I have used an mp3 file in a zip as a dummy file and its fine..

You can use whatever you want, the thing the dummy file is doing is getting the disc to have a bigger area burned on..

If u have a small iso file like 20 mb... in some cases it wont work, cause the player cant read the blank because its too small info on it, so it scans to fast over it and misses it, and some media is just bad to burn on and need a bigger reading access area.

So a dummy can be all your PORN picture or mp3 files... the only purpose is to fill the cd with useless space... OR take an oportunity of backing up some files u would backup any way later.

so go ahead and just use whatever you want that dont inflict with the program that will load on the media. so dont BURN ALOT OF VIRUS TO FILL THAT EMPTY SPACE, when the program thats gonna be starting a bootup virus program for an example.

I would burn all my useless logs from mirc.... have a folder that is over 2 gb in logs. been using mirc since day 5 after it came out...
