hey guys. i have a bunch of misc parts, and most of them are in good condition. currently i have the following:
- 1 motherboard                    $15
     -v1.0 doesn't work, i messed up the copper line near the bottom side D0 point. good ram.

- 1 thompson DVD drive         $20
     -works good, sometimes won't open on first attempt

- 2 cases                               $20 each
     - both v1.0 completely stock (no paint/etc.) with the fan and daughter board

- 1 PSU (broken)                   pay for shipping
     - fried during power surges, i heard you can fix these, but i don't know how

- 2 official MS power cables     $3

- 2 official MS av cables          $3

- 1 third party (don't know the brand) AV cable (yellow, white, red, + s-video) $3

all prices do NOT include shipping, but i am willing to negotiate the prices. if you are in the Southern California/Inland Empire area, we can arrange for pickup. also, i am willing to trade for RGB Audio/Video cables or controllers. just give me an offer.

Has the motherboard ever been on Live?  If not, is there a way that you could give me the EEPROM, I need it for my XBOX, so I can go on LIVE with my new HDD.

yeah, this motherboard has been on live. but isn't the eeprom just a rom image? or is it an actual chip? i don't really know. im saying this cuz i have another mobo in the xbox i actually use, that hasn't ever been on live to my knowledge (to confirm i'd have to ask the original owner). if the eeprom is an actual chip on the mobo, i can't sell that.

Bump for a good guy. Got my dvd drive the other day and cannibalized it for parts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)


By the way, EEPROM contents can be dumped to the xbox hdd as a text file using evoX dashboard or ConfigMagic. Once dumped, you can FTP it to your PC, then email it as an attachment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Well, I would need the EEPROM.BIN file so I could flash it to my XBOX, but yea, you can dump it with EvoX or ConfigMagic.

ok, thanks. i thought that the eeprom was just an image flashed to the mobo, but wasn't sure.
in that case i'll talk to the original owner (its ok, he's a neighbor) to see if it has never been on live. i'm almost certain it hasn't, but i don't know for sure. if it hasn't been on live, i'll pm you and we can work out an arrangement then.
