Hi guys.

I have a DreamX 1480 that stopped working about a year ago after many happy years of service.
I pulled it apart and started diagnosing it but got called overseas. Now after sitting there for a year I thought I would throw it all in a box and see if anyone else wants it.

What is for sale?
DreamX 1480 in original box
4 controllers (one original DreamX, 2 Logitech wireless, one other s-type).
Remote
4 USB adapters
Extra stickers etc that came with it.

Mods (that I can remember):
X3
X3IR
Thermaltake fan
Retrofitted active copper 1U heatsink (CPU)
Rubber feet
No hard drive

Please note that I chopped off the X3 to use in another XBOX at a point. All the pieces are there (it will have to be a solder job - an extra headsink prevents "normal" installation) but the mod chip and the wiring are not all guaranteed to be connected - as I said it doesn't currently work. I believe I was getting Christmas lights around last Christmas when I last touched it (I didn’t appreciate the festivities at the time). Also note I have removed the hard drive as I want to recover some data off it. The hard drive will thus not be included.

I think this was one of the final ones of these produced as they ran out of stock days after I ordered it. The original receipts are in the box.

Firstly apologies for not replying I got called away for a week.

As for the questions about price. Offers have been between $100-200US (at least in the end!).

However I am posting back here now to let everyone know that shipping is looking to be $100US (to America at least).

The whole lot weighs just under 6kg so shipping can be calculated here:

I will leave this for a few days so everyone can reply or PM and (assuming someone takes the shipping) will send to the highest bidder end of next week.

would you be willing to sell the motherboard?

what if someone were to buy the whole bundle and just let you keep everything but the motherboard?

i almost forgot to ask about the error lights...
is it a 3-boot FRAG, or is there some kind of video/audio output?
how does it behave when hooked up and turned on?

If you win the bundle and want to save on shipping I can disassemble it and send the motherboard.
I believe it was just red/green lights when I last looked at it.

Furthermore all note that I am going to sell this with only two of the controllers. I will keep the two logitech ones - please adjust any previous bids as you see fit.

Whoever is the highest bidder by the end of tomorrow wins.
