We use it almost daily in my son's room so he can watch kid movies. No clue if it's ever been on Xbox live, but I installed the chip personally and I've never taken it online. I'm not the original owner of the internals so I don't know if previous owners ever took it online. Almost forgot, this also comes with a "Mod Inside" jewel. . . not installed though.
