Looking For A Working Dvd Drive

my friend had a thompson drive that i had to tweak the pot on so it would at least read something (didnt read any disk not even xbox games)
well its in its dying days it takes a good 15 trys to get a game to work

im looking for a working dvd drive that reads with no problems

mainly looking to spend $50 or less shipped, samsung or philips would be nice please no more thompson drive

this xbox was bought used for them from his brother as a christmas gift, they dont have very much money so they cant buy a new xbox

I have some tommies with brand new lasers installed that read everything perfectly except cd-r for 32$ shipped to your door priority mail with del confirmation.  biggrin.gif
