Okay, took some pics of the SuperSlim temperatures to answer your question. As you can see, it does actually run a little hot at times, but like I said, I've never experienced any problems due to heat or overheating...
Oh, and it's a v1.2 or v1.3 motherboard in a v1.0 case.
Here's the pics:

When first powered on, CPU temperature reads 48°C

After 5 minutes, the CPU is at 60.1°C

After an hour of intense Halo2 playing, CPU temp is at a toasty 68.8°C
In contrast, my regular size XBox read 56.8°C idle temp after an hour of being on.
If anyone's really worried about the temp, I bet you could install a pair of 40mm fans in the exhaust to really bring the temp down.
