How do I turn the music off plays when you first boot the dash.  I get all my music from the ms dash repeated over and over again.  I would appreciate it if anyone would help me out.  The music gets really annoying.

You have to FTP to your xbox using a Dash with FTP support or an FTP program.  In the C Drive there is a file called config.xbx.  Transfer that to your computer and open it in a wordpad or notepad.  You will see a line of text the that looks like this:

Background Music=Yes

Change the "Yes" to a "No".  The above line should now look like thie:

Background Music=No

Now transfer that file back to your xbox and overwrite the original config.xbx.

You could instead boot up your xbox to the THC lite dash and press the X button.  Now by moving the cursor to the right on the music menu screen choose the pictures until you will see the word "random" appear on the music menu.

No you should just exit the menu without pressing anyother buttons.  Now every song will be random .

Jesus, only a retard wouldn't understand this...    ph34r.gif
