There are no problems with the box. The HDD was unlocked during softmod and turned off. There for it wont boot the HDD and needs a chip. Dont know the version of mobo. Its just been sitting in my closet for about 4 months collecting dust.

Before you ask, yes it was my 1st softmod attempt.

Fix it . Now that you have unocked the hard drive you can acess the backup folder that is created by just about every softmod installer . Should be E:\backup or something . Just put the unlocked drive in a modded box or plug it into your pc using a xbox hard drive reader program . THen pull the eeprom from the backup folder and use xboxhdm to relock the drive . This should be a very easy fix I don't know why you gave up .

EEPROM was never backed up.
