you can  use any xbox hdd in a pc as long as you leave it in the "unlocked" setting, otherwise the mobo will not detect it.

as he is shipping them to you they must be unlocked for you to install them on your pc/xbox, you will be good to go, and I have gotten two from him, both ran great
