Looking For An Ide Cable For Xbox
« on: August 09, 2004, 08:15:00 PM »

I am getting a new Harddrive and I am wanting to set up the original on a switch to connect to live occ.

I am looking at trying to buy a cable with 4 female connectors *the ones that plug into a mobo or drive  (one to plug into the DVD, one to plug into the Original hard drive, one to plug into the new hard drive, and one to plug into the Xbox mobo).

I am looking to determine price based on length, and time until available.

I would also be willing to consider other multidrive options if you know of any.

Thanks,

Thought of another possiblity, don't know if it would work though, If anyone has one of those hard drive switcher devices (uncertain of product name, but I belive that it is called a TreOS) version 1 (the one with the hard switches, not the one with the soft button). This is the thing that allowed people to switch the primary harddrive to change the Operating system.

IDE can only have 2 devices per channel so there's no cables like that, sorry.
