Yes, it attaches to the xbox via a clamping device. Here is a link to the manufacturers webpage. I will post pics of my item once I get a chance. (mine is basically brand new though)

hey viper my soldering looks like ass compared to yours.. although have you tried new chips, unsalvaged, they go right on.. but if it ain't broke don't fix it.. i get requests from customers regarding ram upgrades i was wondering if you had a supplier that you get from or is the salvaged ram chips working for you..

Not once have I personally ever had chips I have removed from motherboards fail on me. Also, I now remove them with a heatgun, so the pins are not bent whatsoever. If you can get me new chips, LMK the price.

By the way the thing wrong with my board is a compent is missing. If you can just help me with it that would be great too. Pic below of compent missing and yes I am a idoit and messed it when installing mod.
