I myself do not use xbox live nor understand the full settings and setup for it.
I understand the xbox and where the files could possibly go.. and what can possibly be needed..such as a reinstall of the account which just makes sense when all else fails.

So anyway try to reply back with some answers..

Yeah the PAL issue is weird.   CFM states it does it and fixes it for you .. if you do not touch the ini file.. however it doesn't seem to change something in the region settings.

That tutorial is easier than my tutorial.. I appreciate the link!
