Well in response to my is MXM dead post thanks to all those who replied.
Apparently MXM is not dead as those in the know have quite well stated, perhaps without the smugness and language might have been a bit more appreciated.
As I'am not a close freind of BenJeremy and hell I dont even live in the same country as him I'am not to know what his up to and what his future plans with mxm are, but yes I agree his entittled to a life as we all are and thank him for his efforts so far with what I consider the number one dash for Xbox.
So no argument there but in the past there were a lot of upgrades but of late not so many so one can only assume either there was a problem or something bigger was brewing...fortunately the latter is going to prevail.
I also consider #mxmfiles the number one source for everything Xbox and am in gratitude to people like YuYu who have helped me in the past with questions and problems so yes I do consider certain individuals to be "the big boys" as these are the people who know xml and how to use it and take the time out of their day to share that info with us people who have very little idea.
But of course theres always the mouths who know everything and can only answer by swearing and big noting themselves, these are the people we smaller people call knobs, congratulations thetruethugg your a knob.
So thanks to Ben for setting me straight as well as Yourwishismineand thanks for making a great program in mxm.

Ohhhh...where did I get my UnleashX info from, it was either on here or Allxboxskins, from memory they didnt want UnleashX to mimic mxm as thats wasnt its purpose.
So if I'am wrong then flame the guy who wrote the original story, not the messenger passing it on.

I was wondering where you got the info that BenJeremy is working(has worked) on UnleashX. -Then I reckon you must be talking about the memory unit thing. It was more of a concerted effort aimed to better the dev scene. He started it, gave what he knows, asked for help, I added what I know and that was it. Now the info is there for everyone to use. Nobody worked on someone else's thing.

And to straighten out your info further. I said I don't intend to make the dash a full featured media player as it wasn't meant to be and that is still the case. Just because it can play WMV, doesn't mean it's trying to be MXM, nor copying it. Hell no, the dash has more to offer than just video playback -not trying to promote it nor put other dashes down. That feature was thrown in for personal reason, so what's to be ashamed off? Surely, it's more shameful to disseminate information without verifying your facts, wouldn't you agree? And yes, this isn't flaming at all, just trying to show the facts.

Don't mean to be rude but if you blurt out things like that, I guessed you deserved to be flamed. Some will take your statement as facts and believe it to be true. It seemed you sounded very sure of what you are telling. Now, did you just hear it like that, as you claimed, or you arrived to that conclussion yourself?

As pointed out by BenJeremey, UnleashX, and the rest of the previous posters in the other thread, you defenitely got fed wrong information if you are merely the messenger. Care to share where you got your original source from so he/she gets flamed instead of you?  :lol:  

Anyways, as far as official public MXM updates go, it's been pretty much all said. BJ has A LOT on his plate right now during real life work that puts $ in his pocket on top of the ongoing work on MXM. The 2cents that everyone throws in regards to MXM doesnt get his bills paid, and I'm sure UnleashX, and the other devs out there are on the same boat.

UnleashX, your more than welcome to rant in the MXM forums. I'm sure you've seen other 'MXM users' rant and rave at the same time in the UnleasX forums...

Thanks for the replies guys, just wanted to get everything straightened out thats all, no never sure of too much about mxm as I'am just a user and not a programmer but I'am 99% sure I read the UnleashX stuff on Allxboxskins when it first got released.
Anyway we now all know what the go is so no more confusion, thanks again for all the worthwhile input guys.
