Have I Been Ripped Off By Xboxgod?

If I must...

The seller has no history or scamming or ripping anyone off.The seller shipped the items and were lost in the mail.It does happen, why else would people pay for tracking numbers? And that doesnt always mean you'll get your package.
If I buy something and pay with paypal they(paypal) take out a fee and if you wait more than 30 days to give a refund another fee is taken out when the seller give the money back. And if he used a money order the bank would charge to cash it.And why wait for the money order to come in the mail?Does the buyer no longer want his XBOX?Just buy from the guy again to save time and money.

When you enter this tracking number into ParcelForces (or ParcelFARCE as they are known by over here) website it asks for you to contact them. Have you spoken to them? Their number for you to call is +448708501150

Select Track Item from the menu at the top.

It's shows me a number to call but it's of use to me. I'll just wait on him ans see what he has to say.

just give the number a call. they will track it down or tell you if the tracking number supplied is not valid etc.. just drop the 0 off the front of the number and add 44 so, 44870.... i don't know if it is 0 or 00 for you guys to get an international line.. or you can email them from the site. jsut quote your tracking number. If it's worrying you that much, a couple of dollar phone call will answer your concerns.

I just sent them an email I'll see what they have to say about this tracking number.

See above - you are a whiney little girl! biggrin.gif

Seriously - if you've ever shipped anything internationally you'ld know there is more than one way to ship parcels - "EMS" which takes less than a week, and standard mail, which can take 8 weeks.  Having ordered parcels both ways, I know that for example, a chip ordered from Lik-Sang could be in my hands in 3 days with EMS shipping ($20), or two months  ($8)...  For something like a case, I'm betting the figures from england would be more like $20 for slow-boat versus $35 or more for fast shipping.  While your $200 sounds like alot of cash,  the brits have a terribly oppressive vat scheme ( kinda like sales tax, but closer to 30%)   - I'd bet *YOU* chose the cheap shipping, or the seller did so for you, because you hit him so hard on price.   The translucent Xboxes cost 199 (pounds) which equals $320 us dollars - If you paid $200, he's got to get $140 from the leftover pieces just to break even  -  and that's with cheap shipping, and assuming only $20 for it.  It may well have been more...

I really believe Xboxgod did you a *favor* and youre whining about it - no wonder it's so hard to get the brits to ship us parts - I wouldn't either.

I wouldn't say he is doing him a favor, unless you count accepting his cash and not replying

Maverick...have you ever called the number on the tracking site?...if I was out $200, don't think i wouldn't hesitate to call and see what's going on.
