Have I Been Ripped Off By Xboxgod?
« on: February 17, 2004, 12:17:00 AM »

laugh.gif  For example one guy was selling a samsung dvd drive for really less... I forget his avatar name. But he was a newbie... anyway, no one replied to his post (obviously coz he was a newbie)... poor guy just kept bumping his post...
What to do about this, I know not....  tongue.gif

Anyway if you are  a buyer please always ask the seller the basic questions of:
who,
where,
what,
when,
and how.

In anycase, I am glad this situation all worked out in the end.  beerchug.gif  cherry-oh

Have I Been Ripped Off By Xboxgod?

I've been trying to get ahold of XbOxGoD for a very long time now about the Limited Edition Green Xbox case with 2 controllers that I bought from him. I've been emailing him sending PM's to him with no luck what so ever. It's been a month now and I still don't have my items.

So my question is too you guys, is XbOxGoD a good seller? Can he be trusted? Have you had a tranaction with him? Has it been sucessfull? If not what happened?

I put over 200+ US dollors into buying the items, and I'm really pissed that I haven't got them yet.

The last I heard of him he gave me a consignment number which I think means a tracking number. He told me he shipped it out, but I have no clue if thats true or not. I've pm asking him how do I check the tracking number and I haven't got one reply and that is what worries me. I live in the US and he's in the UK the tracking number is below.

Is the consignment number / tracking number fake?

PA 006 570 239 124

I've ordered many things from the UK before and it's never taken this long. EVER!

Help me out guys/admins have I've been riped off? uhh.gif

PA 006 570 239 124

this is probably a Parcelforce Worldwide ref number - cheap n cheerful but no doubt with either £100/£250/£500 - probably £250 compensation/insurance.

I have bought from him:

1.2 mobo & h/d + samsung 616t - all arrived ok and working well - £85

1.2 mobo & h/d + samsung 605 - all arrived ok and working well - £110

recently bought this week another

1.3 mobo & h/d & samsung 605 - on it's way I expect - £110

he is now on holiday as of Thursday for 2 weeks he said in a recent pm - hence he ain't ignoring you......

I doubt very much you have been ripped, maybe if it has been lost/delayed but he can do nothing or answer for another 10 days or so until he returns

normally I wouldn't get involved but atm he isn't able to reply so it would appear he is a ripper maybe but he has come through with flying colours/colors for me in the past.

Standard parcels - UK type of parcelforce service isn't very quick - sometimes it takes a week to get about 100miles - other times it takes a couple of days, it is that kinda of cheap n cheerful service - I was worried when one of mine was about a week to arrive but posting proved he did send when he said.

Hopefully it ain't lost - but like I say he's away atm so not much you can do just yet - but maybe it will turn up before he returns or if not he can look into into it.

fingers crossed it will arrive though, but just letting ya know he is away and not ignoring you

Oh ok he's on vacation. Then I understand. I'll wait until his vacation is over and I'll see what happens then.

I'm hoping it wasen't lost. He said he insured it so I'm not to worried now.

One thing though, I've pm way before his vaction even stared, and that's what worried me a lot. I'm still hoping for the best.

If he is shipping from Enlgand it take about 6-8 weeks for it get here in the US.  I ordered a video from Revolver video.  It took them 2 months to get it to my door.  This is a reputable place.  I too was worried about getting ripped off or it getting lost.  I would worry to much.  Not yet.

Well he finally pm me and asked me if I got the Xbox case and 2 controllers and I told him no. He hasen't replyed yet for the past week since that PM. So I pm him again and said that stuff pretty much got lost in the mail. So I asked for my Money back since he did insure the package.

Now I'm waiting on him, it sucks it has to go down this way. mad.gif

What way?
Why does it suck to get your money back when your stuff is lost in the mail? And why ask for your money back?Just buy it from him again.
And if insurance works the same there as it does here then you wont have your money for at least another 1 and half months.

Are you honestly suggesting this?  Perhaps you could elaborate on your logic...
