Qwix never seemed to work for me.

Neither did Virtual Xbox CD Ripper, which I really wish worked...

Well said.  It all comes down to what works best and Avalaunch/Qwix is the best paired applications for the Xbox.

Avalaunch and Qwix should however be open source and why Devenic did not take it open source is beyond me.  Maybe he knows MS will reverse engineer his code to cause grief for us modders.

ItÂ’s nice to see a new version will be released I look forward to the release.  Thanks for making by box rock.

Thanks,
Sha

Devenic,
I know this is a strange request, but I'm wondering if you could possibly get Qwix working in Wine for Linux.  There aren't any great linux apps around for what Qwix does and wine can't run it...just errors out without the gui even loading.  If you're feeling up to it it would be great if you could try getting it to run in wine, I'd be extremely greatful. Perhaps set up a Virtual PC with Linux installed for testing?  If not I know you're busy so I just want to thank you for a fine product!

UnleashX is another awesome dash that supports 'Boost' mode FTP with Qwix smile.gif

10-11 megabytes a second average here on everything...only when something has a billion tiny little files does it drop off at all.

Buy the game, put it in your 360 and then start playing the game, that's all there is to it. All the files from the .360 image will go the the 360 just as they're intended to.

Hi.
Craxtion 4.0 also extracs and allows you to browse 360 images if you change the file extension to *.iso.
However it will complain some sort of overflow error or something but it still does the job.
As expected maybe all of the widely used tools for this purpose works.

Would it be possible to add a feature to see how much free space is left on the HDD? That would be great.

I second this request, all those in favor?

Qwix 2.0 shows free space on the Manage Titles screen, and will also check free space before trying to upload.

Qwix has always worked for me. But you're right that Virtual Xbox CD Ripper is garbage. It will always corrupt the database. Just use dbpoweramp to convert the music, and "xbox soundtrack editor" to upload. Although I've still had problems with the music in Burnout Revenege, it might've been because the files were VBR. Or WMA9. Or maybe not. Still better than the virtual cd ripper.

I love Qwix and thanks for making it. I have been having some problems making ISOs using Qwix and the latest updated Avaluanch, though: on some of the games, it just stops progress on (mostly large) files and I have to close Qwix and then use XBMC and just copy the files over with an FTP program. I'm thinking it might be my DVD drive having problems reading it because sometimes the same files won't transfer over with an FTP program either. Then, I'll just copy them straight from the DVD drive to the HDD and transfer over FTP.

Also, I just recently learned about MooGUI/Xbox-LYT and have been using those (and they aren't bad programs), but I don't like having to transfer over a bunch of files (or making an ISO and then extracting them) and would much rather just use Qwix if it supported layout files and making optimized ISOs just like MooGUI. Would there be any way of that happening?

Thanks.
