They did the same thing with my chip, but even though they did not update the tracking info (which may not be there fault) I still got my chip when I was supposed to. So they are good IMO!

They never sent mine. I ended up filing a dispute with paypal and buying mine form the forsale/trade forum here.

OK I think there is a pattern here. I bought a chip from them on February 1, ordered it 2nd day air, and here it is the 17th and I still haven't gotten it. I e-mailed them a couple times, and they kept apologizing that they were behind due to the PRO's coming in. Several days after that, I called them on the phone, and he apologized and assured he would be overnighting it asap. That was 5 days ago (much more than enough time to overnight something). Now when I try to call them, I just get a generic answering machine. If you try to go to their web site (www.xboxmodchips.net), it is now DOWN. Something stinks here. I just filed a complaint with PayPal, I encourage others who have purchased from them and have not received to do the same.
God, all I wanted was a friggin mod chip. What are the honest companies out there? Cause I still want one...

People don't realize what we lost when LIK SANG got castrated! They were the biggest in the world for this stuff.. and then to have them get cut my the big 3...

When it comes time to buying a new chip.. I think I'll give it up! Too few honest etailers for this type of stuff!

Yeah their webpage is down. Actually a few other webpages I have gone too are down today. Maybe this "storm of 2003" crap? I don't know.. I'm in CA and it's 50 degrees outside, lol

I picked up my X2 pro the day it arrived. I didn't have to deal with delivery since i live in the same town, i think they got good service if they wouldn't be so swamped with orders.

Yeah I wouldn't say they scam because they don't, but you need to make sure you make yourself known.

I ordered a Modded Xbox on Jan 9th and then another the next day.

I got the one I ordered on the 9th some time around the 20th of January I think. So then I waited for the second one to come, but it didn't. I kept checking the status and it said "In Manufacturing" so finally around Feb 1st I got fed up and E-mailed them. They replied to me and said they were sorry, that they must have thought it was a Dupe order, though they didn't return the money for it.....

They told me they would ship out the Xbox on Monday and I should have it soon. Well it didn't ship that monday, but it did ship the next Monday and I got it on the 14th.

The inside work is good and they sent me some free stuff along with the 2nd box because of the mixup, now that I have the Xboxes I can certainly say I'm happy with them.

ooooooh... too... many... games....

Anyways, the system works great! Had Evox on it and a on/off switch. I plugged it in and I was ready.

Few things: The on/off switch for the X-2.. it coulda been installed a bit... cleaner. Just one of the vents on the side snapped off and the switch drilled in. But thats ok.. I'm just picky.

And DVD playback.. plays normal DVDs fine and backups I made with DVD Decrypter, but backups I made with DVDXCopy... the first disk will play fine, the 2nd will play the video but no sound... weird.. my last Xbox played them fine.

Other than that I am very happy! Man.. I love my Xbox! I can't stop playing Halo, hehehe

OK, out of fairness I am posting a follow-up to my previous post. I am the one who ordered an x2lite from xboxmodchips.net back on January 1, and hadn't received it for like 3 weeks. After filing a complaint with Paypal, they responded to paypal (and therefore to me) with a tracking #. Now, I ordered 2nd day air but they shipped it usps which is yet another error on their part. Alas, the chip FINALLY arrived to me (20 days late) and it works so I'm happy. What I am NOT happy about is, during the period when it looked like xboxmodchips.net was closed, I ordered another chip through another company since I was pretty sure I was not going to get the other one, and I paid for it, and now this other company is not responding to my cancellation request. So it looks like I may end up with an extra Xecuter2 Lite in my hands... anyone want to buy it if I do? Drop me an e-mail if so: [email protected].
