That's pretty much exactly what's been happening with me too.  Although, I haven't heard anything about mine being worked on.   I ordered it on July 25th and that's the last I've heard about it, I've sent a couple e-mails inquiring about the status of my box but I haven't gotten anything back yet.  I'm just pissed because I have to go back to school in a week and I won't be back here for at least a month.  I ordered it in July so that I could have it before I had to go back.  I guess I could get my parents to ship it to me at school but that wouldn't have to be done if it didn't take over 3 weeks to ship the thing out.

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about.  It's one thing for a company to be swamped with orders.  It's another thing to flat out ignore your customers when they write you WEEKS LATER asking wtf their xboxes are.   This is our money I'm talkin' about here.  Anybody with honor would at lest keep you updated, assure you that you will get your product, and honorably ship it to you as fast as they can and as a last also, put a notice on their web page telling us how swamped they are and perhaps telling us what number we are in line for getting our xboxes shipped.  If I was #1,000 in line, I would NOT CARE as long as I saw that number go down at a constant rate.  Yes it takes time to mod these xboxes.  But it takes TWO HOURS not two weeks to do one.  That's exactly why I started a billing dispute with my credit card.  If he wants to be charged $35 bucks by paypay hey- that's his choice.  All I wanted was a premodded xbox not a load of crap.  So to anybody wanting to know where to get their premodded xboxes, I say I don't know but STAY AWAY from www.premodded.com.  Again, I anxiously await his responce to my billing dispute.  And I am not saying he's a rip-off artist.  On the contrary, he DOES deliver.  But, if he vanished from being online a week ago and suddonly stopped responding to e-mails, How do I, a person who doesn't know the guys at www.premodded.com from Adam to know that he didn't just decide one day to close up shop and go on vacation for a few weeks saying "They'll wait." or worse - just close up shop saying "Suckers!"  I'm not saying he did either of those but he has been offline for a week and hasn't responded to any e-mails in a week when just a week ago, he'd always at least be idle and he'd always answer e-mails in 48 hours.  What's a guy who spent $310 to think?  Well, not a lot more than "Thank you Visa for your protection." and "I hope nobody paid w/a moneyorder."

Ya, I ordered mine on Aug. 5 and have not taking any action on getting my money back yet, because I'm waiting to see what's going on.  They are making me very angry, im not sure if I will get my xbox or not, but i hope i do, so i don't have to go through alot of crap to get my money back.  Well I have not had any message, email or any kind of reply for them in about a week.  I am going to be pissed if they take to much longer!!  I also would have to agree, if you were thinking of ordering from them, forget it, unless you want to wait 3-5 weeks to get your xbox, or you might not even get it.  I think they should hire someone on to just do customer service.  But anyway I will tell you if I get any emails or talk to anyone.  You do the same. Tell me what happens with the credit disput and if you get your money or an email or your xbox.  Thanks, I hope both of us luck and whoever else has ordered from them.  And to anyone thinking of ordering, stay away!!!!!!!!! from premodded.com

So it would appear then that by the account of a few people in this thread and others NOT in this thread that Mr. premodded.com has done nothing in the past week in terms of being online like he was before and answering e-mails like he did before.  At this point, not only have I started a credit card dispute but I have done the following and am urging all of you in this thread to do the same thing if you would.....

You probably paid through paypal as I did.  I paid with a credit card and told you previously that I did a billing dispute with my creditor.  But, based on what I have read here on xbox-scene, I logged onto paypal and filed a buyer complaint form.  What Paypal then tries to do is to get your money back.  They don't make a guarantee like Visa or Mastercard does but at the very least, if everyone having this problem files a complaint with Paypal, this guy will either perform as he should or he'll get at least the paypal shopping cart portion of his page SHUT DOWN until he satisfies the complaints that are piled up against him.  NOTE for those who are also gona do a credit card dispute, his paypal account will also get frozen once the banks decide in our favor (should he just ignore them the way he is ignoring us) and if that happens, he'll also be unable to offer a paypal shopping cart on his page.  So basically one of two things will happen in the end.  He will either deliver as promised or he will no longer be able to do this to others at least not via paypal.  He'll have to get a merchant account instead (they're even tougher) AND if he screws enough of us over, I believe that's mail fraud (not sure though but if it is, that's a federal offense)

shit shit shit, how lucky am I, after getting ripped off once, i choose the best place to get ripped off again. I got a tracking number and all, but that doesnt convince me at al cuz all it says it was sent on the 13th since that date. I bought mine like 3 weeks ago, he told mme he would send it the next monday, that week he didnt give me tracking number, last week or the next week he gave me the excuse that he had mistaken my name with another guy, (how many Gianniu Gibelli's are there?), but he did give me a tracking number and told me he had sent it that day, and i havent received it. Its been 5 days i mean comon, i didnt know of a mailing option by usps that within the US it would take more than 5 days. Im very worried, he dont answer me emails. I hope that 1. if they caught him, they make him return our money, 2. he went on vacation, and not 3. he's ignoring us.

Well, at least he told you something, I have not heard of anyone actually getting ripped off yet, but I would imagine that it's possible considering he was online before and now he is not.  He has not been online on icq, aol, or yahoo, and has not answered any of my emails and there are a couple of emails, and my last one told him that i am giving him 48 hours to reply and if not then I am filing a credit disput with paypal.  So if he has not replyed to my email by the end of tommorow, I will create a dispute with paypal and visa!  So tell me how everyone is doing and if anyone has been in contact with this shitty company within the last week or in the future.  And oh ya, what are the chances of getting my money back if he does screw me over??

This is so disturbing.   Everyone please just remember that if you paid on a credit card with paypal, file complaints with both your credit card provider and paypal.  Nobody should take the attitude, "Damn!  Got ripped off.  Time to suck it up and go elsewhere."  Yes go elsewhere but no don't suck it up.   If he's ripping us off (and he leaves us with NO choice but to speculate since he vanished from being online and won't answer our e-mails) then I'm here  to tell him that there are laws against this; serious ones too.

A while ago, I've heard it said that someone or other knows the owner of www.premodded.com.  If this is the case, please enlighten us.  From his e-mail packet headers and ip address, it looks like he is in or near Belmont, NH. and subscribing to metrocast.net cable internet service.  Now, from the internic WHOIS info, you will find nothing but fake (generic) information for his premodded.com domain name.  His web service provider is www.abac.com.  I'm gona see about contacting them and see what their policy is towards pulling the plug on those who use their service to do bad business.  I propose we get him from all areas, corner the alleged bastard and either get our products or squease his ass out of the business.  Anybody with more detailed information about his identity or whereabouts, please post them.  You'll help us all out.

Yes, I will be taking this on with you to, but I am giving him one more day to reply and that's it.  Then I will help out to take this guy down.  I would so much rather just have my xbox, then have to go through the trouble of hunting down my money, but I'm not going to sit by and let him just ignore us all.  fuck this guy and his business.  they suck, and im also not going to just blow this off, I paid $310 and I either want it credited back or I want my xbox pronto!

Yea I just loved how he filled out his domain name request form.  We may not be able to locate him (yet) unless someone quite crafty steps in -- but there's enough information that can be extracted by the authorities if enough complaints get called in to credit card companies and his service providers that were listed above (And thanks for listing them btw.)

I know that Ronnie, he owns #xboxwarez and he has premodded.com's phone, i cant do shit because he wont give it to me, man if one of you could get it.... i know because premodded has told me that ronnie has called him, and ronnie is the one who ripped me off so i know he owns #xboxwarez and he changes his name all the time, just tlak to the moderator of the room. Just ask the guy who runs #xboxwarez on dalnet for the phone, AND dont tell him its because u think premodded ripped you off, tell him something like i just ordered a chip and i wanna call him. They MIGHT also be affiliated, i got my reasons. So if he refuses and looks suspecious just post it here, i will get a paypal dispute right away.
