Let me just say this: bmmods is awsome. They shipped my chip promptly, had excellent and prompt customer support, and packed my chip very well indeed. I couldn't be happier biggrin.gif

After system-mods.com continually bungled and delayed my order (10 days later and it still hadn't shipped!) I went to bmmods.com. They were able to not only fill my order, but have it on my doorstep across the United States exactly twenty four hours later! Amazing.

thrsprj, goat_omar, JackOfSpeed and tipup:  Thanks for the great feedback!  biggrin.gif

This site is awesome. Nothing short of perfect.

I ordered a SmartXX v2 (HE ..just for the hell of it) tuesday night at around 8pm, and it took less then 48 hours from the time I paid to the moment I had it in my hands - Thursday at around 3PM.

The service is great, their irc channel has some very great support guru's, who answered my many (perhaps excess) questions promptly smile.gif

Highly recommended.

I started a modding site a few months ago, and it wouldn't be anywhere close to where it is if I would have picked a different vendor to purchase my chips from.  They get my chips out quickly and always take care of me when I have a special need or request.

Whether you are spending 50.00 or 500.00 with this company rest assure you will be handled like you just spent 5 million!!

I'm a newbie to the mod world and I'm thinking of buying xenium spice kit from bmmods.com.

When I go to the bmmods' xenium spice mod product site (https://www.bmmods.c...&cat=262&page=1), it gives an option to buy "Hard drive upgrade kit" for $5.99. They don't mention any details of this option. Is the upgrade kit necessary for upgrading the harddisk? What does this upgrade kit comprise of?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

I recently got burned when ordering from http://www.chipdealer.com/. So I was a little nervous about ordering online again. The order went through fine. It was completed, packed and shipped the same day. They e-mailed me a USPS tracking # but every time I tried to check it all it said was that the shipper has notified the USPS to expect the package for delivery. This made me very nervous. I called the USPS and they claimed they had not recieved the package yet. By this point I was ready to dispute the charges but I told myself I would give them 7 days. Today, Saturday I recieved the Chip in the mail.
My order was placed on 8-22-2005 and I recieved it on 8-27-2005. I am very happy with BMMODS but the USPS needs to fix their broken track and comfirm system. Now when I go to the USPS site it says the package has been delivered. Many thanks to BMMODS for doing what I paid them for they will have my business again.

Order #13674

My order was processed on Friday Nov 18th. As of today they still have not shipped the item. I emailed them on Tues the 22nd and have not gotten back a response. This is my first mod and the first time ordering from a modstore and I am really disappointed in their service. In the email I got from them after my order was processed it said it should ship in one business day, well I'm starting day three and nothing yet. I'm not sure why this store has gotten such good ratings.

When ordering with our free shipping service, we do not send out orders daily.  Only UPS orders are shipped daily.  However, your package will arive in the estimated time frame promised.

The email needs to be updated which I will do shortly, but upon checkout there is a section you can click to see when your order should arive.

We do not respond to support inquires via email, only our support desk found at http://www.bmmods.info

I've had a VERY NEGATIVE experience with BMMods. I've ordered from them in the past and it was an excellent transaction and the shipping was fast however this time around they've been horrible... horrible enough that i'll never do business with them again and i'm not very picky at all. First of all on the site it says backorders are generally from 2-3 weeks- ok. well its been 2 months and finally they get the xecuter 3 in
stock. To add insult to injury on december 19th 2005 they charged my credit card the ($92.97) and today they send me an email saying my order was declined!!!!! I've waited 2 months and have been charged WTF!!! is wrong with BMMods??? BMMods has gone to shit since last year. Email me for a screenshot of my bank statement as proof that they charged me on Dec. 19th ([email protected]). Please do yourself and me a favor by never ordering from BMMods. It is ridiculous that I have to post my feedback on the forums. (I'm going to post on all of them including ** Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents **)

Order #14830

I ordered a chip from bmmods about a year ago, after my brother did the same and had great service. When my last xbox got stolen and I wanted to replace it, the first place to buy my chip again was from bmmods. The order was processed very quckly and shipped just as quick. I know that there were (are?) some issues with others receiving their items, but my experiences were great! I have some friends that are looking at a mod chip and I will point them directly to bmmods.

Order #14724

I'm very satisfied with the whole experience and recommend Brian's services to anyone. There was delay in completing my order, install of a SmartXX v3 and 300GB HDD upgrade but Brian kept me informed during the process. The work done was professional and he'll get my business again.

lookformeb.com is a helpful resource if you're like myself, new to the scene

Order #14861

I orderd a chip from bmmods on June 10th, which was labeled IN STOCK and said it would ship in 24-48 hours.  That's great, not in that big of a hurry, have another modded box with the first gen xecuter.  A few weeks go by and I finally receive a item shipped notice on the 25th.  13 days late but ok no rush.. a week goes by and USPS still says they have not received the item from the shipper, and still to this day has not:

420852819101805213907270787027

So on the 2nd of July I open a ticket at bmmods.info.  It would have been nice if they EVER had live support, but I have honestly never seen that online, and don't think it ever is.  I immediatelly receive Brian's canned response that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy for 2 minutes:

http://www.bmmods.in...a...ws&newsid=6

Note the date on the link also.  Looks like a lot has change in those 4 months  dry.gif  Over a week later and 3 responses from me in my ticket at bmmods.info and nothing but the original canned response from these guys.  My ticket is EZM-717752 incase anyone can light a fire under their ass.  Like I said when I submitted the ticket it would be nice if the link they sent me wasn't just a bunch of propoganda BS and they actually were honest when an item was out of stock.  I think everyone can agree that one lost sale because and item is out of stock and possible return business is much better than an angry customer never to return that will also influence others.  I'm currently working with BofA to reverse the fraudulent charge because I had gone through all the proper channels to resolve it.  I had looked through the forums before but just now noticed the shop review sections and thought maybe there is an easier way.
