Ordered two chameleon chips with solderless adaptors from them, the chips are on backorder at the moment like most of the chameleons are.

I think these guys might not deserve the bad rap they've been getting, we'll see though if their new "systems" they have in place will work.

Will let you all know how it goes within a week or two.

They sent a THOMPSON drive system, and it was not the holiday bundle.

I even ordered another premod xbox from them for a friend once I saw that the first one had been shipped.

Thank god it is on a credit card as I can contest the charges if I want. I'm not mad about the holiday bundle so much, but I am furious over the drive. I'd rather have a new xbox WITH the samsung drive then a modded one with a thompson.

So, if you were planning on ordering from modsforless, I'd hold off for a bit.

I will say this however, the first xbox was shipped rapidly and they did not rape me on shipping charges. ($7 shipping when the actual post cost was $14)

I have not received any info on the 2nd xbox I've ordered, but I imagine it will ship sometime soon.

Depending on how they respond about the icky thompson drive will determine if I like em or not.

i don't know, i'm happy with my purchase, consulted on IRC before ordering, was told it was in-stock and would ship shortly. placed the order for the x2.3b-pro on 12/31, shipped on friday (due to New-Years day holiday) no problem.

recieved it just now, 1/7, roughly one week after i ordered. came boxed in a USPS-PM envelope, looks good, haven't had it installed but it's exactly what's expected.

price, terrific, paid $50 including shipping, can't beat that.

so, in my experience, i would definitly order again

Ordered a X2.3B Pro on the 29/12/2003 order was shipped on the 30th

Arrived 6/1/04 Looked like it had done a few rounds with the bigger packages on the flight over to Australia.

Installed yesterday and works a treat. Great prices $50US including postage.

Would order again without hesitation.

Thats funny. I ordered on the 29th of December, and it shipped the day after. It is now January 8th, and no Xecuter 2.3b Pro!

Should I worry? PS I live in Ontario.

i ordered Executer 2.3B lite+ from these guys about 3 days ago. stil dont have it.
Im gunna wait till the weather clears before i suspect anything(6+inches snow)

Above I posted that my xbox came with a Thompson and not a samsung. They say they are sending me a samsung next week. If I get it I will let you know.

Placed order on Dec. 30, 2003. Ordered (2) X2.3B Lite Plus chips.

They said I would recv items before Jan. 10

It is now Jan. 13 & No email, no shipping info, no tracking #

I sent them an email today.... hoping this is not going to be a hassle !

It is illegal for a company to charge your creditcard before your items ship. Tell them that then ask them about their fee. Thanks for the heads up.

i ordered my chip on the 7th Jan.. sent 2 e-mails. no response. i got in there irc channel, no response. im gunna send another today.

Horrible.... just horrible. Save yourself some stress and DO NOT order from these guys.

I was shopping around for chips last weekend and popped into their irc channel... they assured me that if I were to order from them, my chip would be shipped out on Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and my card is charged but no update on the order status. So I go to their irc channel again and am told that the orders are shipping out, they just have too many going out and cant get to all the orders to update the information. No big deal. Until I get the same exact story the next day. Today I check again and am told, 'The chips should be shipping out today.'

........................

So basically my card is already charged and these fukz are just lying to everyone about when their chips are going to ship to string them along in the meantime.

Horrible business practices - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

btw, go check out some other shop threads and try to find a shop that doesn't take your $$$ first and ship later...
