I finally got a hold of someone from the company, they took like 2 weeks off because of the holidays, and told them I haven't recieved my order. The women on the phone told me I should have received an e-mail that they were on back order....She admitted that they didn't know when they would recieve their shipment.  Although "its not their policy" she gave me a full refund and should expect to recieve it in the next couple of working days.

Ok, I take back most of the bad things I had to say about this company because I *should* get my money back. My advice when ordering from them would be to call the company and see if they have it in stock before ordering.  I don't know if the service would be better if it hadn't been a holiday season, but I didn't receive any reply to my e-mails (3) but one and it was an automated response.

Others had good experiance with them, I didn't....Just expect to wait if thier is a problem.

ive been ordering from this site for 2 years and never had a problem.  they always ship it out when they say and everything i have to give them a 9.5 i just wish they would come down a little on the prices..just a little

Just incase all of these negative posts are not enough to send you running and screaming through the woods AWAY from cybershop.com...

Here's my experience with them.

I ordered an Xecuter 2.3 Light from them (because the Pro was not in stock) on 12/22 via credit card.

At the same time I ordered a 120 GIG HD from justdeals.com.  

I got the hard drive on 12/23.

The cybershop.com website just showed "order received"

After leaving a few messages on their voicemail... and playing email tag for a week... they told me there was a problem verifying the address.

I took that to mean that they had never charged my card.

The SHIP TO ADDRESS is the SAME address that is on my credit card!

I got my CC statement yesterday and guess what!

They charged the card the same day the order was placed!

I tried calling them today and their voicemail boxes are all full!

Yes that's right! All three of them!

Stay away from gocybershop.com......FAR AWAY!

That information was not on the site when I ordered the chip that day,
I did look around and did find out there was a shortage due to defects but
the site said instock when I ordered, So I know there is no way they could justify
offering overnight shipping when they dont even have the item in stock

You know, i have to say beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the absolute worst customer service i have ever recieved from any online company, I ordered the XBIT mod chip on your website on dec 11 and paid for overnight shipping, ummm i dont consider 10 days and no item overnight shipping, at the time of ordering there was absolutely no message indicating that there was a problem or that i would have to wait till what is it now, dec 31, otherwise i would have never ordered, this was suppost to be a christmas present to my son, I am not rich man but if this had worked like it was suppost to I was looking in to investing inthe chips from your company to build one buy one for frends and family, my biggest complaint is that i have kept in contact with you and have only recieved one reply on DEC 15 saying word for word below.

I replyed quickly that day with and email saying most of what is above, I have yet to recieve a responce. The Holiday information was in another part of the site, atleast they could of informed of the backups and being on holiday throught email, right... It was pused back to the 15 then the 17, then when they get them, now they say they are shipping then as they recieve them, I first saw that notice on the 20th, I AM STILL YET TO RECIEVE AND INFO OR ITEM, so on the 27 I requested either a refund or a tracking #, and have yet to recieve either.

Hopefully you can see why I reccoment NOT buying anything from this webshop, good luck shopping

After Two months of waiting I finally recieved my chip /w no word, or anything from them, I had Ordered a replacment the same day as I postede the topic above and got it 3 days later, I seriously Recccomend not doing buissness /w this company, I used MODCHIPMAN.COM, and would gladly reccomend them again

My PSU went out, and rather than order one from Hong Kong, I figure GoCyberShop in Canada would be a faster alternative.  I ordered a PSU from them from them with overnight fedex shipping, and emailed them right after paypal payment requesting they acknowledge payment and let me know when it ships.  Two days later no responce to any emails so I call them and am told that they haven't recieved payment and the person that could log into their paypal account wouldn't be around until monday.  This was an instock item that "ships within 24 hours."  
I said I wanted my money back if it didn't ship that day with FedEx overnight and Saturday delivery.

Come monday I get a reply that it had shipped and they gave me an PostCanda tracking number that had the only activity listed as being nearly a year old.  I emailed back asking why it wasn't FedEx.  The response was that it was shipped FedEx.  I emailed again for clarification.  Now I am told that they didn't recieve payment again.

After much ado they finally shipped my items via UPS, and I recieved it exactly a week after when I should have.  

I have never been so dissatisfied dealing with any online merchant.  

I would NEVER recomend these people to anyone.  NEVER.  grr.gif

I made an order for an X2 Lite Programmer after screwing up a flash Thursday night and selected the free UPS ground shipping.  To my surprise, I received the item on Tuesday(Monday was a national holiday) via Overnight shipping.  

My status page never reflected said shipping change, but overall, I am pleased with the GoCybershop.

Order # 86734 Xenium Modchip with Solderless Adapter for $67.68

This is the worst webshop I have EVER dealt with!

I ordered a Xenium Mochip with solderless adapter on April 26th. I paid via Paypal immediately. After a week went by with no change in my order status and no email or item received I emailed them about it. They sent a short 3 word reply saying the item was now on back order until May 7th. I decided to wait it out untill the following Monday when the back order date changed to May 14th, at this time they gave a little insert on the item description page (way down and buried) that they could not authenticate the modchip and thus it was now being sold as a clone!  This lil tidbit was not there when I originally ordered it and the fact that neither the item's described name or main item description said it was a clone lends to the fact that they were trying to cover their ass for selling fake Xenuims, yet still deceiving customers by advertising it as a Xenium and only putting the new description way down in the page after legal mumbo-jumbo! When I saw this combined with the fact that they had back ordered it until May 14th I cancelled the order on May 11th. According to their own policies they would get back to me and process the cancellation in 48 hours. We guess what? The ignored my cancellation request and shipped out the fake Xenium modchip on May 14th!  I complained about this and told them I did not order a cloned Xenium but an authentic one and was not willing to received the item, and why had they ignored my cancellation? A Marni Pomeroy who was the only customer serivce person I ever talked to in this whole ordeal just sent me a curt 3 word reply saying "Send back then" When I asked if I would receive a refund he replied again saying "I will see what I can do"
When I received the modchip via UPS, even though I had asked for it to be shipped via Canadian Post, I checked it out and was able to determine that it indeed was a fake. This was on May 17th, the same day I had received the item. I promptly repackaged the item and mailed it back to them via USPS Global Priority Mail that same May 17th. A week went by and it was supposed to have gotten to them in 4-7 business days but Marni kept telling me "Not yet" when I would periodically ask if they had received the item back yet. Come this past May 26th I couldn't wait anymore and filed a Buyer Complaint Report with Paypal (it was the last day I could do it) and asked Paypal to refund me my $67.68 because Go Cyber Shop! had engaged in fraud by selling me a fake Xenium when they had advertised it as a real one when I had originally placed the order and paid for the item. Well that didn't work because Paypal sent me a resolution statement a few days later saying that their policies didn't cover me since Go Cyber Shop! had indeed sent me something and Paypal didn't cover authenticity issues on their buyer fraud protection, thanks Paypal!

Well since that option was exausted I decided to email Go Cyber Shop! about the refund but as of yet I hadn't received a response since that May 26th. And now June 5th I come to find my USPS Global Priority package back in my mailbox with a "Refused/Return to Sender" stamped on it by Go Cyber Shop! on May 21st!

What The Hell!

I've sent Go Cyber Shop! an email asking them what the hell is up and why they told me to return the item (and waste $7 on doing so) only to refuse to accept the item and force it back on me! This company has got to be the most corrupt, fraudulent, careless, and rude business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! from the item description, to the order page updates, to the shipping issues, to the cancellation process, to the customer service Go Cyber Shop! is THE worst webshop to deal with! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

I am now out of $75 hard earn dollars with only a fake Xenium modchip and damaged solderless adapter to show for it!

I understand your pain! I ordered a programmer from their site and purchased overnite shipping, cuz i had a party later that week. THE DAMN THING TOOK 3 WEEKS TO GET TO OHIO! AND MY PARTY WAS RUINED!

And by the way arent programmers supposed to come with a grnd wire installed??!!??!!  Mine didnt

To those that are about to place a order with gocybershop.ca,  i would advise you to read the following.


on aug 18 i placed a order for, 4  XBox Xenium ICE ModChip with Solderless Adapter (Official), w/ next day ups for a total of 241.36$ as what my invoice shows. i gave my father the money and he used his credit card ( Master Card ). Since i dont live with him i wanted the items shipped to my address.

on 8/18/2004 12:09 PM i recived a email

Dear Customer,

We regret to inform you that there were some problems processing the order you placed on 8/18/2004 2:31:10 AM. Please contact Customer Service at (519) 884-5545 and quote order number 108549 if needed.

So I called them and asked what was the trouble, they told me they can not ship to another address other than what the credit card is billed to. With that being said, I said ok ship to the address where the cc is billed to please.  she said, cant i would have to cancle the order and resubmit it via their www site.  so i went online, and did as directed. finaly on wensday i recive this email.

8/20/2004 I called and called, and called and called. finaly around noon the lady answer the phone, I asked what was the delay, item shows in stock on site and i paid over night cuz i wanted it today not next week. she said i would have to talk to shipping, please hold. beep beep..... no one answers 10 mins so far. so i hung the phone up and went to smoke a joint before i flew to .ca an hr later i recived this

So I pick the phone up and call back, she said the shipping said I would have to submit a copy of the credit card front and back, a copy of my drivers lic., a copy of my social secuitry card, and a old bill for the credit card, since my item was a high vaule.  I told her there is no way i will submit those items, I barely feel comfortable useing my credit card online. specialy with the issues of today's secuitry.

she replyed, well with out those items that we requst we will be un able to ship your items, so there for i have two options, cancle the order or do as asked untill then my item wich is already paid for will sit and collect dust.  I sprung for the order to cancled. I then called my father and asked if he could see if they withdrew, he phoned me back and said yes 261.85$, not 241.36$. I call the lady and ask her why the differnce, and she said my bank might be useing a differnt conversion rate than theres and they use real time. i was like thats total bs, and I want a dam full refund, she said it wont be posted untill monday so give it a few days and things be taken,  I asked her if it was real time withdraw then it should be real time depoist. she said it will be taken care of.

depost shows on the credit card, for 251.35$  not 261.85, I call yet again and ask. she said she charged 10% cancaling fee, and thats why.  i told her I was not donateing to charitiry and that of course i wanted a full refund, she hung the phone up on me.

3hrs later, phone rangs, its gocybershop.ca shipping department asking me what the trouble was and i proceded to explain and intrutpted me and said sir ur talking to the shipping department not sales and hangs the phone up.

well, 10$ burnt and no chips.

i gusse i got lucky with getting the 251.35$ back.

i have had HORRIBLE experiance with Gocybershop just horrible nothing good at all!!!  grr.gif

i ordered a 2.3b pro from them with express shipping and well i waited a month for the damn thing!!! finally on a friday as i was getting ready to leave for school i picked up the phone and they said "ups , i got a pack for u" and i got it! and YA i skipped school for it. all in all HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE/ONLINE SHOPPING EVER
out of 10 i give them ---100/10  so ya they underscored!!!!

now that chip is in my box and ill think ill go play some

I have to say, I have been trying out Canadian suppliers and was thinking how bad it might be to deal with these guys.

Well, I guess I will not have to, being that there are issues between PayPal and my cc bank, the bank does not release the info to third parties so I can not confirm my address (Wich sucks but out of my hands).

The only issue I have dealing with Gocybershop is that even though I paid through my bank account and not my credit card, it took them a week to tell me I can not place an order so why even bother offering overnight delivery when it will be a week before they even look at it.

Good news is that my money has been refunded and now I have to wait 4 days with paypal but these were just backup chips and I have other orders on their way from other sites so just a learning experience.

Bought an X2pro on their web site last Thursday afternoon by credit card, they shipped it out on Friday by Fedex, I got it Monday afternoon.

It's installed and working.

They are a great source for Canadians to avoid the Customs bs.

My one experience was perfect.
