EDIT* I note he conveniently changes the word "SUPERglue" to just "GLUE"

He is right about me not actually buying anything from him though, i was just unfortunate to have to clean up his mess behind him.

Please bear in mind this Crystal Xbox was barely 3 months old & had not been sent by courier.

Perhaps another customer would care to open his xbox at some time and see if it is held in with superglue or normal glue?

As for the sort of person i am, well im not the sort who would perform sly little tricks like using a great big dollop of SUPERGLUE on the modchip of a schoolboys Xbox**

cool.gif its less likely to come loose in transit. I have sent some X2-Ecuter chipped consoles out with PIN Header install and some of these have slipped off in transit hence the dab of glue to ensure it doesnt happen again after all if you ordered a console you wouldnt be happy if it was dead on arrival. In case you are wondering why one in every hundred X2 consoles had a pin header not wires then its probably because I needed to flash some SST flashroms, so I would crack open a new xbox, solder pin header to it and use a cheapmod socket to flash the SST chips, then use the PIN header to mount whatever modchip needed fitting for customer who ordered said xbox.

For the record all Xenium and SmartXX installs use PIN Header install method and I dont use glue I bend half the pins on the header about 2mm away from the other half and then slide on the modchip this ensures they dont slip off, plus these modchips are a lot lighter than the X2's.

And just so you modders know what sort of person Slimgrip is here's some of his email replies :

Ahhh,is that some kind of thinly veiled threat???? no its much easier to post all your email replies in your advert threads on Xbscene, worldxbox, & ebay. Much more effective way to explain good business practice. But thank u for your address im sure trading standards will be happy to visit on my behalf.

What is it exactly you want? or do you just like making a nuisance off yourself perhaps you have nothing better to do?

Slimgrip said :

Your right Just got nothin better to do

Now if I wasnt paying VAT and income tax, or perhaps if I was doing something illegal I would be worried about Trading Standards but seeing as my business is 100% above board I really dont mind if you call them feel free but my guess is you're not declaring all you should as far as the tax man in concerned.

I would also like to note I have over 600 references on 5 different websites and not one bad remark of a single person other than you, but YOU havent actually bought anything from me have you Slimgrip?

I ordered a LTD edition crystal Xbox with a X-ecuter 2.3b, 120 gig HD and HD activity light from these guys, well my dad did cause i reccomended him to it (cause ma b'day was just around the corner and i just did my exams), because it was the best modded xbox site i could find at the cheapest prices and delivery charges, i was a very happy bunny when it arrived ( in only 48hours for such a big parcel) the box that absoloutly untouched (normally in post it will get bashed, but not here) it was really good pre loaded with the latest evox dashboard with tons of applications emulators skins and everything you need to start hacking the XBOX!
its fantastic!
i HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS SITE! http://www.premodded.com go there now and order! ITS MOD-TASTIC!

I have just ordered a modded Xbox on Sunday from premodded.com and the site has been down for a couple of days now.

Getting a bit concerned as payment has been recieved and my email to the site has been unanswered.

It's arrived - packaged up like Fort Knox - I'm impressed and I've not even opened the box yet.

Currently sitting on my desk at work and I'm itching to get it home and try it out.

Looks like I can add myself to the list of recomendations and hopefully the site will be back up again soon. Probably be back up by the time this post has been moderated.

John.
