I had problems from them too, ordered premod Enigmah, nothing for 2 months, got a few emails, more emails when I threated to get a refund, still nothing, so I canceled via credit card.

Avoid at all costs

Hackers Hardware has had trouble with PayPal, and took them off their site, they have not recieved payments, and never got money, so never got the orders, they made a new payment thingy on their site. I ordered a Matrix Chip for XBOx from them a few days ago, will put when I get it.

So does xbox-scene still advertise them or not?

I do not recall seeing banners for them but I see them listed as a sponsor. If they are so bad I would think this place would have all reference to them removed.  The price they have on the Ex-ecutor2 lites are far better than anyone elses, but their repuation appears to be quite bad.

I tried calling for my e-mail confirmation since i never recieved it but all i got was "you've reached a mobile number that is not in service or have been disconnected"

i'm filling a claim on the charge they've made on my credit card and going for easybuy2000.

the kind of business they are running is unreliable. i'm sure they are very nice people but they need to atleast answer e-mails. they owe it to the customers.

I got sucked into hackershardware.com "holiday sale" a couple weeks ago.  (I had yet to read any posts on this forum about them).  Anyway they said that they would get the chip soon and ship them out.  So I went onto #xbox on efnet and talked to Rot (read other posts mentioning him).

He said that they are no longer going to sell the matrix because they are getting too many complaints on it fucking up systems.  So they are going to start giving refunds tomorrow (12/19).

So make sure you get yours!!!!!  Im not sayin that that they are scammers over there just be safe.  I was looking around and think that soldering the xecuter 2 will be fairly easy.  Ive only ever soldered on thing before but that was easy enough.

Good Luck to anyone that ordered a chip!!!

You know, im really starting to wonder how these dudes stay in business. It kinda shocks me about all these horror stories about this place but yet they still keep on ticking.

I suggest everyone just avoid this damn place

I also purchased a Matix from these guys.  I ordered it on December 1st.  There was no mention that they were "out of stock" on the web page then.    When I checked back a little over a week later, I was told they would be in stock the week of the 16th and would be shipped out then.

Well, it's December 23rd and the front page of Hackers Hardware still shows the Dec 9th message of "next week"...

When I get home and have access to my order number, I'm going to contact them again.

If all else fails, I will contact my credit card company and dispute the charge.

If you need a Matrix.. I'd suggest Spotted-horse (or is that spotted-dog?).. I ordered a chip from him on Thursday and it arrived today (monday).

I pre-ordered X2 Lite from hackershardware and haven't recieved shit.  No email. No snailmail.  Nothing.  I filed a compliant with 2checkout.com and I never got shit.  I even emailed hackershardware and asked them the status of my order and what not.  I got nothing.

I went ahead and ordered from extreme-mods.com on Dec. 18th and haven't recieved anything either.  They did email me back with status on my order claiming they were waiting for the next shipment of Lites.  I just emailed them again because they said they were supposed to get the Lites latest by Monday Dec. 30th. and I still haven't recieved a damn thing.   I guess I'll wait for another reply.

Call your credit card company and file a fraud complaint.  Also go to 2checkout.com to file a complaint with them.  Don't worry if don't have your order number, you will be able to pull it up with your credit card number.

I have a feeling these guy have taken our money and run.
